My Secret Friend
I’ve got a secret friend
No one else can see
She flies around my room at night
And sings her songs to me.
She follows me when I go out
And even comes to school
She whispers in my ear sometimes
I think she’s really cool.

I used to be a lonely child
Until the day she came.
My mum says who you talking to
You silly little child
But Mary and I just giggle
It drives my mother wild.
