Nervous, anxious, anticipation “Number nine!”, shouts the timekeeper my number, time to focus ten miles of pain ahead Visualise the course Countdown to hell “Five…four…three …two….one …GO!”

Mr Kelly, This nonet is excellent. You show the anticipation to a degree I can feel the excitement build rather than just read about it. I enjoyed this immensely and now wonder what the outcome was? Penny (great avy )

Oh the anticipation in this. You conveyed anxiousness so well to the reader. A wonderfully crafted and well expressed nonet. ***Applause***
