<<< Wee Little Tricks >>>
A wee leprechaun was having lunch one day.
After which, he laid down and went to sleep on some hay.
While he was a sleeping, a long came a little lassie,
as cute as a sprite, only twice as sassy!
A wee little trick on him, she thought she would play.
As he lay there, asleep on all of that hay.
She reached into his vest and took out his pipe,
from it his tobacco she did swipe.
She replaced it with magical rainbow dust,
holding in her laughter, she was about to bust.
She then hid behind a big old oak tree,
there she tossed a stone and waited to see;
just what this wee leprechaun would do
cause of the noise from the stone that she threw.
When he sit up, he resembled a small jacksnipe.
He reached into his vest pocket and took out his pipe.
Then pulled out his tobacco pouch,
he seemed to be a bit of a grouch.
With the first puff, he blew out rings of amazing hue.
He started to cough and turned an awful blue.
He heard a funny muffled giggling sound;
jumped up and started looking all around.
He soon looked behind the big old oak tree,
the little lassie was laughing with such glee.
She stopped when they both heard a new sound,
they whirled to see some fairies on a mound.
Dancing in a fairy ring on Ireland's ground,
they were all wearing shimmering crowns.
Crowns trimmed in shamrocks of emerald green,
the prettiest gems you have ever seen.
Surrounding both the leprechaun and little lassie,
the fairies danced a waltz that was very classy.
The fairies then began to sing a song
come on; you too can sing a-long.
Playing tricks, is really never nice.
Do right, always be like sugar and spice.
Be nice don't cause anyone pain nor shame.
Long may love and kindness reign!
