Angels and Rainbows

[Myth]

If you listen
closely
to the rain

The angels
laugh inside

They dance
and play
and dodge
the drops

But if you
look
they hide

If you
wait until
it's gone

When the
Summer sun
arrives

You might
see a
rainbow
on which
playful angels slide

If you drop
down
to your knees

In the rain
soaked grass
close one eye
and be real still

You might
just see one
pass

I've tried
to see them
I always do

The only one
I've really seen

continues
to
be
you
