Clear as the morning's dew Our passion falls by the wayside Leaving me blue and broken Drowned by the tidal wave of your torment
Slipping from my grasp I watch you walk away forever Lesson learned the hard way Entertainment is a dating commodity Never enough to just be yourself Coughing up my lungs crying out for you Each cry returns an echo, bound to dissolve

Very deep and emotive flow for an acrostic Max ... you managed to make this run so smoothly, a really hard task for this style of poetry. Excellent, Kerry xx exalt

Fine word use and a flowing write, Max. Today it seems that dating is an "entertainment" commodity: enjoy for a while and then forget afterwards, disregard or discard. Good acrostic form. H x

Very poignant. I like the flow of this, too, as the others mentioned, that's tough to do in an acrostic. I'm glad I clicked it.
