Hey its a good start, it's what I started with acrostics tend to be the easiest of all the forms in my eyes. I really liked the political twist to this write, as you knew I probably would a well penned piece that reflects todays America in more ways than one!

Your Acrostic form is good, Max. Topic-wise, different states have differing laws so it's not united and the separations are really noticable, mostly between North and South. The rhyme fits and your meter is good, mostly in U and A (though not essential in the form). Slightly longer acrostics are often easier. Keep going; this is a good start. H x

I agree that this is a good start. Acrostics can be quite difficult, but I thought this was a gem. I can't wait to see more like this from you. Keep the thinking cap on, and keep the poetic pen rolling.
