This is a Palindrome, from the Greek word palin, meaning "again", and dromos, meaning "running", combined to mean "running back again". - D I S P L A Y I N G M O N E T - World sees Monet same our way; the U.S. shows this artwork his displaying inspired paintings canvas enriched with vision inside together linking many flowers on sun shine, To thee request I - make - I request thee to shine, sun, on flowers many linking together inside vision with enriched canvas paintings inspired displaying his artwork, this shows us the way our same Monet sees World (c)'o8

This form is very difficult to write so that it reads equally smoothly forwards and backwards, Newman. Oddly, I felt Van Gough's "Sunflowers" influence here. Congrats for a good effort. H x

This is a new form to me D, but I enjoyed it very much, you worded it delicately like a Monet painting, and it flow like a stroke of his brush. I really have admiration for such art and art of the pen, Brilliant!

Daniel one of my favourite pieces by you was a palindrome ages ago on TPS. This is a very hard form to write yet you made it look easy and it was a beautiful read. You are a natural talent and it shines in everything you write, to srite a palindrome like this just makes your brilliance so blatantly obvious. Hugs, Kerry xx

thank you all for your lovely replies,
I remember the week we had to do a challenge to write an "A,B,C" poem, Penny wanted to know what it was called (an abcdarium) and in research I stumbled upon palindromes.. which I thought was the most unique idea in the world.. cool, so I wrote one, Penny wrote one, Janet wrote one, I wrote another and finally I wrote this one, my favorite of the group. Then everyone forgot about these poems till this year, when out of the blue, they became a challenge (the one Kerry remembers)
Monet was a great painter, but my favorite painter is Dali. However I don't think this would have been a good tribute to Dali as his style can not be copied, forward or backward.
thanks again,
Daniel

I love Monet, I love this form, I really like this poem with its reciprocating flow.
Today, thanks to you I have learnt something new and now I am off to try my hand at this.

This looks effortless when you read it, but when you look into it, you see the intricacy involved in making it reflective. Very, very cool.

I know I've replied to this before, but I think it deserved another read, very clever and I just can't stop being amazed at how easily you can write in this style. Wonderful, glad I came across this again, Kerry xx
