Jim, This is a wonderful and comforting picture. I can almost feel the breeze and the glass of ice cold tea in my hand. and of course, the book in my other hand. Marvelous writing. Penny

Count me in Jim. It says comforting, and that's a good feeling to have my friend. This was homey, but then you're homey, so that's about right huh? LOL!

oog gosh Jim,
I remember days when I could go outside and fall asleep on my swing, just feeling the cool ocean breeze blow and listening to the outside birds sing their natural chorus.. Wonderful reflective tone in this my friend, I really enjoyed.

This poem has a cosy ambience mingled comfortable decay, a relaxed sense of happy indifference. The mood is slothfully cheering.
