Half Calorie Victoria cream sponge
Make a Victoria sponge in the usual way Cut in half and fill with whipped fresh cream To which you have added chopped strawberries or other fruit Save some cream for the top (no licking the spoon) Cover the top with a generous layer of cream Decorate with loads of strawberries or other fruit Dust with icing sugar.
Now here is the clever bit.
Cut a normal slice for yourself Then cut it in half and eat that. You have halved your normal calorie intake.
Feel good about yourself.
Finaly eat the other half you know you can’t resist it.
Feel guilty for being a greedy pig.
