I think those last two lines are the most powerful of this piece. It illustrates those "have and have not" and "us and them" lines. It shows the power that the owners of labour wield over the labourer, if I can put it in such terms, and how much a person's job can be out of their hands in certain situations. My family knows the truth of this only too sharply at the moment. Very nice work, Arthur!

Good form, Arthur!! Exploring the ongoing employment issues ... succinctly, in a Nonet! Clever word choices fit syllables into a smooth read. *Exalt* - and I agree! H x

Revolution? the trouble is we are not very good at it; we just accept whatever they throw at us. Look at our choices, Brown toddling off in the sunset clutching his golden handshake, the Libs Who? ? And last but not least, Cameron the stockbroker, Eton and Oxford; direct descendent of King William and Victoria and self professed champion of the working classes. We wait with bated breath. Now to the poem. A pyramid of thoughtful reflection. You wrote this well Arthur, certainly one of your best pieces, it grows with re-reading. Exalt

I loved this piece Arthur as it is about a subject very close to my heart. We had John Howard (Ex Prime Minister) introduce work place contracts here, and basically took a wrecking ball to the countries working class....I was politically involved with the very successful "Your Rights At Work" campaign that removed the grimey little slug and his minions....strong Unions and membership is the only card we hold against the business world........I'll get of my soapbox now......

This piece reads like a sharp array of terms and analogies that perfectly exemplifies the title and sentiments of the piece, Arthur. You capture the ideals about class struggle and economic warfare here very well, I love the tone and heat of the this.
