I don't use traditional recipes or cards, what I do is this. I simply use what's in my kitchen and use the old taster when it comes to measurements, adding a bit at a time until it "tastes" right. I know it's old school, but that's the way my dear grammy taught me. Spinach & Seafood Alfredo [/u][/center] 1 box of Penne Rigatta Pasta 1 jar of Alfredo Sauce 1 Tablespoon of minced garlic (less if you don't care too much for garlic) 1 bag of frozen salad shrimp, cooked and ready to eat (thawed of course) 1 package of frozen imitation crab meat, thawed 1 package of produce mushrooms, rinsed, and sliced 3 Tablespoons of butter 1 box of frozen spinach, thawed and pressed to remove excess water Salt & Pepper to taste Boil pasta as directed. In large skillet, add butter, garlic, mushrooms and saute on medium heat until mushrooms are cooked through and no longer firm. Reduce heat to low, add shrimp, imitation crab meat, alfredo sauce, and spinach, stirring together until coated. Reduce heat to low and continue to stir occasionally until warmed. Drain pasta and add contents of skillet, tossing together until mixed well. I like to serve this with a garden salad and garlic bread. When I make this recipe, it's enough to serve a family of 5. As I said, I'm not big on traditional recipes or recipe cards, but this is the best I could come up with from memory. Hope you all enjoy. If you have questions or concerns, feel free to send me a pm and I'll help you out anyway that I can. And if you try this, please let me know what you think of it. ;D

OMG I've been looking for a recipe for this for ten years that doesn't suck. Norm is so going to love it when I surprise him with it. Seafood and alfredo sauce are his favorites, and he likes Spinach, too. He get to eat the whole thing as well because I hate spinach and I hate shrimp. And mushrooms. But HE's going to get excited when he smells this cooking!

Let me know how it turns out. Like I said, just mix em all up, heat em all up, and there you have it. Bob hates spinach, but he loves this dish, and so do the kids. I'm not as nuts about it as they all are, but it's ok to me. See...we really do have lots in common.

Stacey that's the way I was taught to cook too, so it's all good.
Does if have to be frozen crabmeat? Can you use the packages that haven't been? Looks like a good recipe as I am a seafood spinach and mushroom lover. I can handle this.
Thanks

Nope it doesn't have to be frozen. That's my bad, hun. I just usually buy the imitation crab meat in bulk and then freeze most of it for later so it won't go bad. Glad you like it. Hugs and Love~~~ Me
