I don't belong here And you make me feel that way Broken and weaker than I've felt before I'm painting my mirrors Because I can't stand the reflection You make me feel this way i hope your happy I'll laugh into silence It'll befriend my hiding silhouette I've never seen a shadow cry before now Put me out on the street I don't suit all your furniture Leave me crawling in bleach, I'll never be unclean © J A Mason

Jay I loved this the first time around and just as much now. Your writing is deep from your soul and in many ways you wear your heart on your sleeve sometimes. It is a beautiful soul and loyal and true. I see a friend for life and a wonderful poet in you. I know what you speak of here and I also know how it cuts you deep. Hugs, Kerry xx

In the style that is you, you make the imagery speak volumes, and that along with the picture you chose bring your point across well. This was special.

If we find ourselves in a relationship which makes us feel bad about ourselves, we are better off out of it, but this can prove harder than what we would imagine.
The opening lines set the tone for the rest of the poem and the pic certainly adds to the feel of the whole poem.
