Winky Can Fly

He is the ninth son, his ears are flat
His tail is long but his belly is fat
The farmer swears that he looks just like the cat

But he's Winky the Pig...

He squeals alot, doesn't have much hair
But what he's got makes people stare
When he raises his wings and takes to the air

He's Winky the Pig...

Ooh look outside, what do you see?
Why it's just, Winky..

Winky's got wings, he dances and sings
then he takes to the sky - Winky can fly..
He's not like other pigs, laying around in barnyard digs
He left them with a "goodbye" - Winky can fly..



So he sat out one day to find his own kind
He found a bald eagle and said: "Do you mind?
Let me introduce myself, I'm defined

As Winky the Pig..

But because I fly, I might be more like you"
The eagle took a moment and thought this through
"Not a chance!" he said, "I don't belong in a zoo

But you do, Winky the Pig.."

But Winky didn't cry, no siree
That just wouldn't be, Winky...

Cause Winky's got wings, he dances and sings
Everyone's wondering why - Winky can fly..
He is searching for another he can call his brother
And they can share the sky - Winky can fly...



Then one foggy night, someone said below
"Winky, why don't you find the elephant named Dumbo
He was part of a circus many years ago

How about it? Winky the Pig.."

He told Winky to look for a big-top tent
There was one down the road, so off Winky went
Not realizing that soon the very next event

Would be him, Winky the Pig..

Up in the air, what can that be?
Why it's just, Winky..

Winky's got wings, among other things
The crowd wonders why - Winky can fly..
While everyone cheers, Winky barely clears
Some tightrope walking guy - who's amazed Winky can fly..



Nowadays if you get to see the Big Top show
In Texas, Oklahoma or Idaho
Look up in the air and say "hello"

To Winky the Pig..

But if you try to pet him, you should beware
He things you are being rude, don't point or stare
Make sure you give a dollar to that man over there

Who takes care, of Winky the Pig..

Hey, you with the camera, hiding in the tree
Stop taking pictures of, Winky..

Although Winky's got wings, much joy he brings
Yet no-one knows why - Winky can fly..
Still he is quite the hit, even the other pigs admit
What they used to deny - that Winky can fly..
Folks little and big, all love the flying pig
And hate to say goodbye,
they would rather say Hi,
But Winky's camera shy..

since everyone learned, Winky can fly...
