Thursday ~ Huh?It's obviously just a downright tragedy when you realise, a little too late, that The Weekly Challenge ended on Thursday. What in the world should I now do, (since it is over and done) with two-syllable word poems, times two? For me, The challenge was not a breeze and took my scant time each day although some people did it with ease. Quite pleased with finished works, I'm cross with myself for not reading the fine print: but, I think it's easier to blame the boss! I walk away, muttering under breath: for the next challenge that I write, my poem will have to scare him to death! ©

Well FIRST of all (feigning high dudgeon)--it's the Weekly SPECIAL, not challenge. Though I did change it for a reason. It has been suggested by more than one member that the challenge/special/weekly prompt/whatever be posted here on a different day than Sunday, so that TPS folks don't feel pressure to write two things at once. I thought it was no big deal because there was a whole week to do it, but since I heard the same comment in multiple PM's I considered the feeling valid and decided to move it. However, the suggestion that I do it on Wednesday I did not feel obliged to accept, for there is always the W.P.P. at TPS--when it happens--and the same fears should apply. THEREFORE, , I decided upon Thursday. HOWEVER, (lotsa caps today, I know), I would be more than happy to have you or anyone who didn't post in time to put your Special entry in the WS board and I will leave it until next Thursday. Sowwy. Next time I make a major change like that I'll give fair warning. But just think of the poem you can now write that suits this week so appropriately.

Bah - semantics, dear Jamie! "challenge/special/weekly prompt" - trigger/theme. etc! Though I see why you changed day (for the eager beavers), a week is still a week so you can pick any day that suits you. It was a surprise - but you inspired me to write an OM-style poem. Perhaps we can call them Ad lib’s. I've posted my poems (Thanks) but also noticed other members "this" week's entries are already in Archives. Something's awry! Would I be so cruel? – nah, and time vanishes in a flash. H x
