I was always blown away by your links to Jeff Loomis. He is such a talented guitar player and I am always blown away. I can't believe that I am still the only one who has replied to your last Loomis link at TPS in the canvas. I'll be honest in that I had never heard of him before you enlightened me to his talent, but I certainly see why you are so into him with his talent and all.
And the above link, well each time I'm blown away when I watch him play the guitar in all his glory. I've never in my life seen anyone play guitar like he does. He has certainly been blessed with a rare gift.

The link I'm posting is a link to the woman who tried to steal my husband back in '07. Every June in the town of Shelburn where all the bullshit happened with my son (the town we just moved from, in fact), they have a celebration called "Pioneer Days". They have a parade to kick the celebration off. This was the parade a few years ago in which she was drunk and mooned the fire truck. You can clearly see her husband running out there to get her as she falls down. It's really a hoot. You can't see skin in it, or I wouldn't post it. But you can clearly get the idea of what she is doing (Thank God you can't actually see her rear, as that would make even me sick).

Here is a video of my oldest daughter Caitlynne singing Amazing Grace A Cappella. The video quality is poor, but you can hear her vocals well, I think. She's also a member here at PoetShare...caitidid1992. Hope you enjoy. She wants to go on American Idol, but I don't know about all that. www.youtube.com/watch?v=klhzgwtRwHU

Joel... sick video my man, he's certainly a talent. But, I still would take Kirk Hammett in a duel! Stacey, the song in your first video makes it all the more hilarious. Your daughter has a nice voice from what I could hear, as well. If she gets a record deal, you should write her lyrics and then you'd both be famous... just don't forget about us when you make it big! Ok... so here's a disclaimer. I cannot hit the high notes like Axl Rose can, and my voice is of a different singing type. I am most comfortable singing operatically, so Guns N' Roses songs provide me with a challenge both in range and style. I am also quite polluted in this video, and it's not my best performance, but it's entertaining... hope you all enjoy it or get a laugh! This was at my grandma's 80th birthday party on a cruise ship off of the coast of Miami...

Joel,
That was amazing. Jeff is a god!!! ....I understand what you mean now. My favorite part was 3;50 to 4;36....Just the progression of the music...gave me chills. I wonder what his hands feel like? I figure they are probably...calloused from all the playing. Oh..I just watched the Economy Picking & Diminished Scales Oh oh....Give me an electric guitar....I think I can do it!!!! ....probably not. definitely not...but the way he plays makes me want to try.

I'm a huge advocate for children enduring child abuse. Please check out these videos that speak out for the children who couldn't speak for themselves...
I have two other links but the content within each one of those is extremely graphic. You will become outraged, and need more than a tissue to get you through those two, IMHO. If you want to see them, send me a pm and I will gladly send you the two links. Hugs~~~ Stacy

Correction...I have lost one of the other links, so alas, I only have one other link to share with those interested. But I'm sure if you search on youtube, you can find other videos that are equally disturbing as these. Child abuse is a tragedy, and although the images on these videos are disturbing, at least it helps those innocent victims have a voice, even in death.

Absolutely heart-wrenching, Stacy. I'm speechless. Aside from rape and murder, nothing is more tragic in my eyes than child abuse. Hopefully this can lighten the mood... I found this on youtube, and I thought it was just very damn impressive. We all know the song stairway to heaven... but have you heard it on a HARP?!

I'm speechless. Who would have known that a harp can have that much class? It just goes to show that music, and the instruments used to play the music, are tools to express the artist convey a part of the soul. Loved it.

These are better videos taken of my daughter Caitlynne singing. We recently bought one of those youtube camera packs, and it works phenomenally, imo. We recorded about 12 songs a capella last night, ranging from opera (which is my favorite of hers) to pop. This song is "Up!" by Shania Twain. Let me know what you all think. I'm just so proud of her, I can't help but to share her talent with all my friends and family here at Poet Share, lol. Thanks in advance. Hope you enjoy.

Here are two videos of my son playing the guitar. He has never had any formal lessons, and he doesn't have thumbs on either hand. I think he does fairly well for a kid who taught himself how to play, lol. Hope you enjoy.
I also thought that some of you would get a kick out of this one, too. It's my daughter caiti (caitidid here at Poet Share) singing her redneck opera she created during her sleepover last night. Forgive the language, but even I thought the language really added to the humor in this one. Hope you enjoy.

Well let me tell you, I used to sing in high school and was in the All-State and All-New England music festivals 4 years running, was music director of my College group the UVM Top Cats, and wanted to be a music teacher. My whole family is musical on my mother's side--my grandfather played with the Big Bands and the Lettermen. In my amateur-professional opinion, that young lady has a lot of raw talent and needs a shot of confidence. She's got the pipes, and it's easy to lose pitch when nervous looking out at all those people. The notes are definitely there and I listened to the whole thing and smiled throughout. Most of the places where Caitlynn started to get a little pitchy were pure nervousness and nothing more. The rest were from being out of breath. I could see the signs, I know what it feels like. Very cool stuff.
