money OR fame

Definitely, definitely fame. Money is usually fleeting, but fame can in theory be eternal.
erm...
Would you rather be chased by an avalance... a tornaod... OR a volcanic eruption? (I kinda had the second one... wasn't so bad. *brushes dirt off of his shoulder*)

been thru my share of tornado's.. however the other two I have never experienced.. I KNOW a volcano would be a bad idea to experience, I don't like lava that much.. so between the other two I would say a tornado because I know you have a little warning before they hit and you can find safety where if your on the side of a mountain and the rocks start falling...
hmmm..
Ferrari or Porsche

ooo I hate expensive cars, they don't float my boat so to speak, it would have to be a ferrari if I couldn't have my soft top VW.
PARIS or ROME

ROME. If I went to France, with my last name, all of the Frogs would think that I'm one of them. And I'm NOT! Plus, I hear that in Italy you can get good food for cheap but in France you have to fork over some serious ca$h, and as a broke college student, that's not an option. Ok, this one is for all of you classic rock fans out there (particularly you Brits ) I frequently have an argument with my friends over this question... LED ZEPPELIN or PINK FLOYD?

POLITICS OR LAW (BOTH BORING IF YOU ASK ME)

I personally think that both are corrupt, but if I must choose, then I choose law. After all, it helps ensure that anarchy doesn't ensue and people are accountable for their actions. (At least it's supposed to).
BEER or HARD LIQUOR?

Post by Max on Aug 9, 2009 20:16:56 GMT -5
My mom is a local politician, and I've seen the dirty game that is called "politics" first-hand at their meetings. My mom does work very hard and is not of the corrupt type, but it's easy for me to see how otherwise innocent people can be corrupted when given a certain amount of power. Considering that I had whiskey and beer with dinner, this one is hard. I gotta go with hard liquor if I want to have a good time, but I'll do beer if I'm just relaxing watching a ballgame or something. Which liquor, you might ask? Gimme Jamison for whiskey and Bellvedere for vodka. I'm not a cheap date Would you rather be a MOVIE STAR, FAMOUS MUSICIAN, or FAMOUS ATHLETE?

hmmmm movie star or musician ..... hard call ....
MUSICIAN ...... (AND VOCALIST)
SOCCER OR CRICKET
|
|
|
Post by stacy (FINALLY back!) on Aug 10, 2009 15:38:26 GMT -5
I know that I would want to be a famous musician (lyricist to be exact).
And I really don't like either one, Kerry. But if I must choose one, then I have to go with Soccer. I don't know why, I guess cause I don't really know crap about Cricket, lol.
And since I was talking about music, then I am left to ponder....
Country or Rock?

Post by Max on Aug 10, 2009 15:46:01 GMT -5
ROCK, baby! I go to school in the countryside but Penn State is almost equidistant between Philly and Pittsburgh. We have a great clash of cultures from the city and country folks mixing. Suburbanites like myself and urban folk tend to go for alternative or rock (classic rock, hard rock, and heavy metal for me, baby). I'll take Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Metallica, and Guns 'N Roses over Garth Brookes or the Dixie Chicks any day of the year. When I'm driving back to school, and I'm about 7 minutes from my apartment, I blast "Paradise City" Would you rather be able to swim like a dolphin or fly like an eagle?
