This is a family recipe that I use for everything; chicken, pork, or beef. Amounts are estimations--I go by taste generally. Using a whisk, combine thoroughly:
1 1/2 cups ketchup 1/4 cup worchestershire sauce 3 tbp chili sauce 1 tbsp cracked black pepper 1 tsp crushed red pepper 1/2 tsp dry mustard 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup white vinegar 2 tbsp seasoning salt 2 tbsp granulated garlic
Enjoy!

Max... loves... BBQ... sauce. I will run this by my parents immidately, and will try it out eventually (my cooking skills are those of a blind man born without taste buds).

I usually put in more garlic, worchestershire, and some onion powder, but this is "the recipe" as far as the family goes.

I didn't think of adding more worchestershire. But being Italian I added more garlic. LOL And some finely chopped red onion. It was divine. Randy and I both loved it. It is our new grillin' sauce. Thanks so much.

Yeah, I keep adding by taste until I get it how I want it. More garlic is always good. First time I made it I didn't add enough spices and it still tasted too ketchup-y. I add more chili sauce too if I need it. Glad you liked it!
